Abstract:
La soledad se asocia a un riesgo de mortalidad prematura del 26% y a otros problemas de salud física y mental, como un mayor riesgo de cardiopatía coronaria e ictus, depresión, ansiedad e ideación suicida. Sentirse solo o aislado socialmente puede tener efectos nocivos para la salud comparables a los del tabaquismo o la obesidad.
