Con la modernización y el envejecimiento de China, la población de adultos mayores que viven solos va en aumento. Vivir solo solo puede ser un factor de riesgo potencial de síntomas depresivos. Sin embargo, ningún análisis de modelos de mediación paralelos ha investigado los factores mediadores entre vivir solo o no (organización de la vida) y los síntomas depresivos.
