La psicosis inducida por sustancias se ha relacionado anteriormente con un riesgo excesivo de suicidio; sin embargo, hasta ahora no se había investigado la asociación entre la psicosis inducida por sustancias y el intento de suicidio. Se investigó si la psicosis inducida por sustancias estaba asociada con un mayor riesgo de intento de suicidio posterior.
