Una actividad física insuficiente aumenta el riesgo de enfermedades no transmisibles, mala función física y cognitiva, aumento de peso y mala salud mental. La prevalencia mundial de la actividad física insuficiente en adultos se publicó por última vez en 2016, con datos limitados sobre tendencias. El objetivo de esta investigación era estimar la prevalencia de la actividad física insuficiente en 197 países y territorios, desde 2000 hasta 2022.
